Adventure Hound Unlimited is proud to announce that we are hosting our very first training workshop, Puppy Potential! We are thrilled to have Bethany Tracy and Brittany Brauer present their combined knowledge of all things puppy!
 
The Puppy Potential Workshop is a 3 day, in-person, seminar that covers everything puppy! We dive deep into understanding how environment, genetics, breeding, socializing and training can build a strong foundation for a lifetime of ease while raising a puppy.
 
One of the many things we find the most exciting, and what we hear from many of the participants who've done the workshop, is how much the information impacts the way they look at, raise and train new puppies. 
 
Both Bethany Tracy and Brittany Brauer, the presenters, are trainers and breeders who have put the last 16 years of their knowledge into creating this workshop to help others feel confident in their puppy raising game!
 
The Puppy Potential Workshop covers a wide variety of puppy related topics:
 
Day 1 -
 
We cover an in-depth review of what proper rearing, raising, socializing and placement of litters or puppies from day 0 to week 8 can do to impact the temperament, learning capacity and future of every puppy, whether its from a reputable breeder or a rescue/foster raising a litter. This is information so many owners, trainers and fosters are unfamiliar with. This information will begin to shape the way you see all future dogs and puppies you work with, creating a fuller picture into how best to help them and their owners.
 
To complement the learning from day 1, we bring in a litter of puppies to practice a real Temperament Test and gain skill reading and interpreting the results. If time permits, we also practice a few of the weekly socialization handling and training exercises that we teach for raising litters.
 
Day 2 & 3 -
 
We transition from puppies in a litter up to age 8 weeks, to puppies that are now being placed in their new homes from week 9 to 6+ months old. We cover developmental periods, sleep and potty schedules, training exercises, relaxation skills, proprioception and much more. We cover the importance of HOW puppies learn and setting up proper expectations for their development. We do many hands on exercises with puppies that participants bring with them to gain real life experience in each exercise. Many of the skills we teach take the Training Between The Ears method and show you how to apply it successfully with young puppies to maximize their success. 
 
This is a 3 day, in-person seminar, that covers everything puppy! It is a deep dive into understanding how environment, genetics, breeding, socializing and training can build a strong foundation for a lifetime of ease while raising a puppy.
All spots are working spots, and all participants are encouraged to bring a puppy to work! (All participants will get the opportunity for hands-on experience even if they don’t bring a puppy)

Who is this for?
Breeders! Created by breeders for breeders to improve your puppy raising skills, and with content that can be taught to the puppy’s new family!
Fosters and rescue workers! There will be tons of info that can be used to give puppies that didn’t have the best start in life a much needed boost, and tips to send with them to their new homes!
Trainers! Even though most trainers don’t work with puppies before 10 weeks, at that point the socialization window is still open to take advantage of all of the exercises and skills that Brittany and Bethany teach!
Anyone that wants to improve their knowledge and skills about raising and training puppies, and even adult dogs!
